Can you turn Mistral's training off?
No model-training opt-out is needed for current Le Chat policy; manage privacy by deleting conversations/account data, turning off or editing Memories, limiting connector access, or running open Mistral models locally.
What happens to your data when you use Mistral?
Mistral collects account, technical, usage, input, output, and feedback data for Le Chat and Mistral AI products. Current privacy policy says Input/Output/Feedback may be used to improve products but excludes model training; connector data is not used to train models. Conversations can still be retained until deleted/account deletion, and open Mistral models can be run locally for maximum privacy.

The free tier does learn from your chats unless you say otherwise, so do turn that off. And if privacy truly matters, its models will run on your own machine, beholden to no one.”
