About the Platform

What is aiunspun.com?

A membership platform for learning to use AI, specifically the tools that are actually useful to people who are not already living and breathing this stuff. We teach all the major AI tools, and the practical tools built around them. Step by step. In plain English. You get a Prompt Builder, a Prompt Library (curated prompts, plus your own private library to save what works as you learn), an AI Prescription tool to help you know where to start, and expert support to answer your actual questions when you need it.

The name means what it sounds like. We unspin the noise.

Who is this for?

People who are smart, capable, and tired of feeling like the only one in the room who doesn't understand what everyone is talking about. Often that's people who didn't grow up with this technology and haven't found a way in that didn't make them feel patronised. But honestly, if you want to feel genuinely confident using AI, and you'd like it explained without the hype, this is for you, whatever your age.

If you've been made to feel behind on AI, this is for you. If you haven't been made to feel behind on AI yet, it's still probably for you.

Do I need any technical knowledge?

No. Not even close.

If you can use email, you can use the tools we teach. The assumption here is competence and capability, not existing familiarity with AI. We start where you are, not where we wish you were.

Which AI tools do you teach?

More than you might expect, because a lot of what we teach isn't tied to any single tool. Good prompting works everywhere, and those skills carry across whatever you use. When we do go tool by tool, we cover the ones with the most practical use in everyday life and work: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, NotebookLM, and other supporting tools as they become genuinely useful.

Do I need to buy any AI tools or subscriptions?

No. Every tool taught in the tutorials is available for free. You do not need to purchase any AI subscription to get full value from this platform.

Is this available outside the US?

Yes. The platform is accessible from anywhere. Prices are in US dollars, but where possible we show them in your local currency.

Can I use AIUnspun like an app on my phone?

Yes. There's nothing to download from an app store. The site itself installs like an app — the technical term is "progressive web app," which is a long name for "a website that behaves itself on your phone."

Save it once and you get an AIUnspun icon on your home screen. It opens full-screen, no browser bars, and remembers where you left off.

On iPhone or iPad:
1. Open aiunspun.com in Safari. It has to be Safari for this part.
2. Tap the Share button — the square with the arrow pointing up.
3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen."
4. Tap "Add." Done.

On Android:
1. Open aiunspun.com in Chrome.
2. Some phones will simply offer to install it. If yours does, tap "Install" and you're finished.
3. If not, tap the three dots in the top corner, then "Add to Home screen."

That's the whole procedure. Two taps, maybe three. Kevin has installed things that took considerably longer and worked considerably less.

Membership & Trial

Is the free trial really free?

Yes. No card required. No billing information. You give us an email address and we give you seven days of genuine access. That is the entire arrangement.

What is included in the free trial?

The first tutorial, Prompt School lesson one, one Meet the AI introduction, a sample from the Vault prompt library, and your First Win walkthrough, the guided exercise that gets you a real AI result in minutes. Enough to know whether this is something you want to continue.

What happens at the end of the trial?

You decide. If you want to join, it's US$7/month. If you don't, nothing happens. No charge, no email asking what we did wrong, no awkward process.

How do I cancel?

Straightforwardly. There is no cancellation maze. No "are you sure?" sequence designed to wear you down. You cancel, and the membership ends at the next billing date. No further charges.

What if it is not what I expected?

Cancel and be done. We'd rather you leave honestly than stay unhappily. If something specific didn't work as described, we'd genuinely like to know, but there is no obligation to tell us.

How do I get the free prompt sheet?

Subscribe to the newsletter. Your free printable prompt sheet arrives in your welcome email, straight away.

I bought a digital product and subscribed, but my 10% membership discount isn't showing. What can I do?

Get in touch and we'll sort it out. If you bought a standalone product and the 10%-off-for-life discount didn't make it onto your membership, that's ours to fix, not yours to chase. Contact us with the email you used and the product you bought, and we'll apply the discount to your membership going forward.

Digital Guides & Workbooks

What are the digital guides, and how are they different from membership?

They are standalone PDF guides you buy once and keep forever: a workbook for learning AI, a calm guide to AI-age scams, a life-story writing kit, and a patient tech-help guide. No subscription, no expiry, and no membership required.

Membership is the ongoing side of the house: tutorials, the Vault, Prompt School, and Ask Kevin. The two work fine separately. The guides just happen to include a standing membership discount, in case you ever want more. All four guides live in the shop.

How does a guide arrive after I buy it?

By email, within a few minutes of checkout. The delivery email carries your download link, your companion page details, and your membership discount code. If nothing arrives, check the spam folder first, then contact us and we will sort it out.

What is a companion page?

Every guide has a private page on this site that holds its printable extras and the facts that change too fast to print: current tool names, prices, links, and settings. The book carries the part that stays true. The companion page keeps the rest current. The address and password are printed inside your guide.

Do the guides really include a membership discount?

Yes. Every digital guide includes 10% off membership for as long as you stay a member. Your code arrives in the delivery email, and it never expires.

Can I give a guide as a gift?

Yes, and it works even for someone who would rather not deal with downloads. Each guide has a printable gift card, linked from the gift section of its page in the shop: buy the guide, print the card or write it by hand, and hand it over. The guide itself arrives in your email, ready to pass along or print.

What is the refund policy for the guides?

Thirty days, full refund. If a guide is not what you expected, get in touch within 30 days of purchase and we will refund it. The details live in the Terms of Service.

Do I need any AI experience to use the guides?

No. Each one assumes you are starting from zero, including not having an AI app yet. Setup is walked through step by step, everything is in plain English, and the well-known free AI tools are all you need. If you can use email, you are qualified.

Content & Learning

How often is new content added?

Regularly. New tutorials, new Vault prompts, and new Prompt School lessons as techniques evolve. New LLMs are added to Meet the AI as they are released, and the Privacy Checker is updated whenever tools change their policies. Members steer what comes next through the Suggestion Box, and you can save anything useful to your own personal prompt library as you learn. The library grows continuously, and nothing expires or disappears.

Can I go at my own pace?

Yes. There are no deadlines. Nothing requires you to have completed last week's content before this week's makes sense. The platform is built around the assumption that people have lives.

What is Prompt School?

A structured course in writing better AI prompts, hosted by The Gentleman. How you phrase a question to an AI tool determines what you get back, and most people's first instinct is to phrase things in a way that produces a mediocre result. Prompt School fixes that, step by step.

What is the Vault?

A growing library of ready-to-use prompts and templates, organised by use case. Take what you need, apply it directly, adapt it if you want. New additions every week, and you can save the ones that work, right alongside your own, in your personal prompt library.

What is Meet the AI?

A friendly introduction to the AI tools everyone keeps naming, one at a time. Each one explains what the tool is, what it is actually good for, and where it falls short, in plain English. There is an interactive step too, so you do not just read about it, you get a feel for it, like you have properly met.

How does the Suggestion Box work?

Members can submit content requests: topics, tools, questions they want addressed in future tutorials. We read them. Content decisions are influenced by them. It is not a guarantee, but it is a genuine input into what gets made.

What is the Prompt Builder?

A tool that helps you build a prompt that actually works. Tell it what you're trying to do, answer a few simple questions, and it assembles a clear, well-structured prompt for you. You can then save it straight to your personal prompt library and reuse it whenever you need it.

What is the AI Prescription?

Once a month, you answer twelve questions about where you are with AI. In return you get a personal plan: what to focus on, which tools are worth your time right now, and a prompt written for your exact goal. Just as importantly, it tells you what to ignore. At the end of the cycle, Your Month with AI recaps what you actually did and suggests what to try next.

What is The Second Opinion?

A place to check what an AI told you. Paste the answer in, and Kevin tells you how much weight it can hold: which claims are solid, which are shaky, what the risk is if it is wrong, and how to verify it yourself. If it looks like a scam, he says so. Members get seven checks a day. It does not replace your own judgement. It sharpens it.

What is the Prompt Gym?

Practice, with feedback. You write a prompt, the Gym scores it and shows you what to fix. There is a weekly challenge, a training log so you can see yourself improving, and detailed written feedback from Kevin when you want a proper review.

How do I know I’m making progress?

Two ways. The Prompt Gym keeps a training log of your scores and levels. And once a month, Your Month with AI lands on your dashboard and in your inbox: a short recap of what you actually did, written for you, with a suggestion for what to try next. No charts to decode.

What is the Tutor Builder?

It builds one large prompt that turns the AI you already use into a patient personal tutor on any topic you choose: sourdough, Spanish, spreadsheets. You tell it what you want to learn and how you like to learn, paste the result into your AI, and start the first session. The tutor waits. There is no schedule.
