Your stories are worth keeping

You’re not just buying a guide.
You’re writing down what your family gets to keep.

One conversation at a time. And by the end, the stories aren’t just memories anymore. They’re pages.

Before

the book that keeps not getting written
  • "The stories only exist in memory."
  • "I wouldn't know where to start."
  • "I'm not a writer."
  • "Mum would never touch an AI chatbot."
  • "We keep saying we'll write it all down… and it never happens."
  • "I don't want a robot writing my life story."
one conversation later

After

the book that finally gets written
  • A finished story after your very first session
  • An interviewer with endless patience, asking one question at a time
  • Your exact way of speaking, kept on the page
  • A method where the storyteller never touches the technology
  • A folder of chapters, quietly becoming a book
  • A written record your family can actually hold
And there is no “right” way to do this
One sessionA story worth keeping
Three sessionsA small family collection
Seven sessionsA meaningful first life-story book
Keep going, on any themeA longer memoir, built one story at a time

One session is a real finish line.

You know that story everyone always asks you to tell?
Here’s what it feels like when a memory becomes a story to keep. Try your first one below.

Your first story, in about fifteen minutes.

These are the actual pocket prompts from inside the book. The first one interviews you about one small memory. The second turns your answers into a story.

Step 1 · The interviewFill in the blank, then answer its questions.
I'd like you to interview me about one small memory, for about ten minutes, so it can be turned into a short story afterward. Ask me one question at a time and wait for my answer. Help me settle on one specific moment, then stay in it: where I was, who was there, what I could see and hear, what happened, what people said. Follow up on interesting details. Don't rush me, don't summarize me, and don't correct how I talk. When I say "that's enough for today," thank me and stop.

My memory is: ______
Step 2 · The storyWhen you’ve had enough, paste this in the same chat.
Now turn my answers into a short story, told in the first person, in my own words. Keep my way of speaking; plain is fine. Add nothing I didn't say, and if I was unsure about a detail, keep me unsure. Leave out your questions.
Then paste it

Into the AI app you already have. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok all work, and the free versions are fine for this.

Type your answers, one at a time, at your own pace. When you’ve had enough, type “that’s enough for today” and move to step two. You can’t do this wrong.

A stack of story books

If ten minutes on one small memory gave you something…
imagine seven guided sessions, a tidy-up that keeps your voice, and a book at the end.

Whose story is it?

Two questions.
We’ll tell you which mode you’ll live in.

The book has two ways in. Solo Mode — the AI interviews you. And Together Mode — you run the device, and someone you love just talks. Pick what’s true and we’ll point you at the right first page.

— no wrong answers.
Question 1 of 2

Whose story wants writing down?

What’s inside

Seven sessions. Use the ones that matter to you.

Each session is one guided conversation: a warm-up, questions the AI will ask for you, and a tidy-up that turns the transcript into a chapter in your voice. Any order. Nothing expires.

The warm-up session. The house you grew up in, the street outside it, the smells and sounds you would know anywhere. Small memories on purpose — they are where the voice lives.

The gift version of this

They don’t need to know how to use AI.
They only need to talk.

Used this way it isn’t a writing project — it’s an afternoon with someone you love, and you handle every bit of the technology. The book is a PDF you own outright, so gifting is simple: buy a copy, give that copy. One bought copy per family telling its story — it’s an honour-system thing, and it’s part of what keeps the price sensible.

Some gifts need batteries. This one needs a pot of tea.
