What happens to your data when you use Kimi?
Kimi's hosted service is operated from China, so your inputs are stored there and may be used to train its models, subject to Chinese law. It is excellent for long documents — but that is precisely why caution matters, since people feed it whole reports and files. The Kimi K2 models are open, so the privacy-conscious route is to run them locally rather than uploading sensitive material to the hosted app.
