- What it is
- Apple's rebuilt Siri, launched in beta on 14 September 2026 with iOS 27. It holds a conversation, has its own app with chat history, understands what's on your screen, can search your own messages, emails and photos, and can take actions in supported apps. Apple built it with its own models alongside Google's Gemini.
- Cost
- Free with iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS 27 on supported devices. Join the waitlist in Settings, then Siri, then Try Siri AI.
- Devices and regions
- iPhone 15 Pro or newer, iPads and Macs with M1 or later. English at launch, with French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish announced next. Available in Canada and the US; not on iPhone or iPad in the EU.
- Privacy
- Apple says requests handled by its Private Cloud Compute are not stored or made accessible to Apple. Chat history syncs through iCloud. As with any big AI company, we can't fully guarantee privacy.
