Can you turn Suno's training off?
There is no opt-out from training while using the platform. Keep anything you would not want kept or made public out of the prompt and lyrics boxes.
Is what you put into Suno private?
Suno keeps the prompts and lyrics you enter and uses them to train and improve its models, with no opt-out while you are on the platform. On the free tier, your creations may also be public. It is a creative tool rather than a personal-data one, so the bigger cautions are about ownership: Suno grants you the output but makes no promise that you legally own it, and the company is in ongoing disputes with record labels.
So, is Suno safe to use?

“Suno is enormous fun and I would happily lose an afternoon to it — just go in clear-eyed. It keeps and learns from whatever you type, with no opt-out, and on the free tier your songs can be public. So make daft, joyful, throwaway things. Don't pour your unpublished novel's plot into the lyrics box.”
