What happens to your data when you use Qwen?
Used through Alibaba's hosted service, Qwen collects your inputs on servers in China, where they may be used for training and can be subject to Chinese law. As with other Chinese-operated tools, treat anything you type into the hosted version as potentially accessible to authorities. The reassuring part: Qwen's models are open and among the most downloaded in the world, so you can run them locally — for example through Ollama — and keep everything on your own machine.
