Yes, unless you switch it off — and you can.
Can you turn Grammarly's training off?
Account settings → Product Improvement and Training → turn the control off. You can also limit where Grammarly runs and request/delete personal data from Grammarly privacy settings.
What happens to your data when you use Grammarly?
Grammarly processes your text, writing behavior, usage data, and generative-AI prompts to provide suggestions and features. Grammarly says it does not sell user content and does not allow third-party LLM providers to train on user content. Grammarly may use content to train its own models and improve the product unless Product Improvement and Training is turned off.
